0 My first Graze box: Review & Free box code!

16:17

So after recently going up a dress size I decided to take the bull by the horns and begin eating a bit healthier (and trying to exercise more often)
My boyfriend subscribed to Graze box and gave me a code for a free box, so I thought I'd subscribe and give it a go. It's a great subscription service, you decide how frequently you get the boxes and you can cancel at any time.

Each box has four snacks in it, when you subscribe you can go through all the snacks available and categorise them according to whether or not you like them. This is so the company can send you a mixture of stuff they think you will like.

The apple and cinnamon flapjack came in three pieces, it was delicious. It was pretty much a perfect flapjack, moist yet crunchy in texture. The chunks of apple made it juicier and I loved the cinnamony after taste!

Very nori-sh has the same texture as snack-a-jacks, airy but with a crunch. They were quite hot, but with a bit of a sweet taste to them.

Korai Chutney bites had a mild curry flavour, the chutney had a sweet curry taste with a bit of a kick. The bites again had the airy, crunchy texture as a snack-a-jack.

Fig roll, the sesame and fig balls had a texture which was soft on the inside but really crunchy on the outside, and was not as sweet as I thought it would be. The sponge was more like a very airy biscuit and for some reason had an aniseedy aftertaste!. The cinnamon infused sultanas were amazing!

All in all I loved my box, I got my first box for free but Im going to keep my subscription. I think the price is £3.50 per box, which is great when I think of how much I probably spend on unhealthy snacks a week. These little pots are great to take with you anywhere whether it be work or university.

I have a code if anyone wants to get a free box: 579V7BLD

2 My Ultimate Crush: Jesse McCartney

20:29

So we all went there when we was a teenager. we all fancied a singer/actor/celeb and thought we was destined to be with them, get married have children and live happily ever after, when I was a teenager I had high hopes, my crush was Jesse McCartney. The reason I'm doing this post is because I was watching some DVDs I found of the TV series Summerland which Jesse McCartney was in and it made me remember what it was like to be a teenage girl.

Jesse McCartney had it all to make teenage girls bask in his glory, blonde hair, blue eyes, cheeky smile, beautiful voice, a california tan, surfer looks. The ultimate pop heartthrob!

I'm ashamed to say seven years on his good looks still have me weak at the knees however, my hopes for a house on the beach in California have surpassed!

So now I want to know:

Who was your teenage crush?

Lets reminicse together girls! Who was your teenage crush? I know you had one!

1 Clarins HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase: Mini Review

16:58

I've never tried any of clarins skin care so I was pleased when I was sent this little 3ml sample of their new skin care product HydraQuench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase. Does anyone else love how Debenhams always sends free samples with your order? I think it's a lovely touch! I've had perfume samples galore and even a Elemis hand cream in the past. Good job Debenhams!

This product is a face serum which claims to "restore a more youthful-looking appearance to dehydrated skin"

The above leaflet which was included states: "Thirsty and mistreated by extreme conditions, your skin feels tight and has developed premature lines. To help restore your skins youthful look, Clarins has formulated this intensive, replenishing serum. Thanks to its double formula, including both oil and water soluble ingredients, Intensive Serum Bi-Phase can combine the most powerful hydrating ingredients discovered by Clarins Research to restore skin comfort, radiance and a softer, plumper look"

My Verdict I've used this serum twice now, which doesn't really qualify a full review on the product but so far I am really enjoying this product. As a person who has never tried face serums, this has really encouraged me to check out different brands. I love how this serum makes my skin look. It makes the skin softer and plumper, it leaves a healthy looking dewy glow.

I have dry skin and this makes my skin feel like its absorbed a bottle of water, it really is hydrating! This is exclusive at debenhams from 21st May to 10th June. So far I do really like it however, it is £40 for about 30ml (I think) a little does go a long way but I don't know whether I could bring myself to pay that much.

Has anyone got any face serum recommendations?

5 MAC Hello Sailor Jaunty eyeshadow: Review & Swatches

19:43

This is the only item I bought from the new Hello Sailor collection, for some reason this collection really didn't jump out at me. The packaging is adorable striped nautical themed.

I bought Jaunty eyeshadow which is bescribed as a light yellow beige. The colour is such a pretty versatile colour. It is just a tad darker than my skin tone and shimmery. It is a frost finish therefore, is shimmery however, the shimmer is very fine.

Compared to Naked Lunch Jaunty is more gold in tone whereas Naked Lunch has more of a pink tone to it. It is great as a highlight or an all over the lid colour. This eyeshadow is still available online if anyone is interested :)

18 Revlon Lip Butters Sweet Tart: Review & Swatches

18:13

So I finally caved in and bought one of the Revlon mip butters to try. I've been trying to get hold of these ever since they made a whopping bang on the blogsphere and every blogger was talking about them. When they finally arrived to little Britain they were selling out like hot cakes!

I gave up all hope of ever being able to obtain one until finally superdrug had restocked on them. I bought Sweet Tart as I thought the colour is lovely and a day to day lip colour.

The lipstick has a little bit f a sweet scent however, it is not over powering at all; Its a faint smell. The texture of these is literally like butter! They feel creamy on the lips and I find to be just as moisturising as vaseline lip balms!

So it appears Revlon lip butters are really worth the hype! The pigmentation is pretty good, I cannot comment on other colours but Sweet Tart leaves a good amount of colour for a product which is essentially a lip balm and not a lipstick.

The colour is a definate barbie-pink and leaves a bit of a glossy shine

I will definitely be buying more of these! they are great to carry around in your bag, they are nourishing and give you that little pop of colour at times where you don't want to wear a lipstick.
